I had one of these in Canberra while teaching Ayurveda & Yoga Therapy, and I was instantly in love! So, I did some research, experimentation…and then some more experimentation, and finally found a recipe that I like. This smoothy is nutritious, very satisfying for snack or lunch, and provides the perfect balance of salty and sweet
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cold milk (almond, oat, rice, dairy, coconut…)
- 1 tbsp nut butter (cashew, peanut, almond…)
- 1 banana
- 2 dried, pitted dates
- Pinch of sea salt
- Handful of ice cubes
Preparation:
- Blend until smooth
