I had one of these in Canberra while teaching Ayurveda & Yoga Therapy, and I was instantly in love!  So, I did some research, experimentation…and then some more experimentation, and finally found a recipe that I like.  This smoothy is nutritious, very satisfying for snack or lunch, and provides the perfect balance of salty and sweet

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cold milk (almond, oat, rice, dairy, coconut…)
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (cashew, peanut, almond…)
  • 1 banana
  • 2 dried, pitted dates
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Handful of ice cubes

Preparation:

  • Blend until smooth
