Thank you for 17 Years of Yoga Teacher Training
On this day in 2006 we celebrated the graduation of the first class of Yoga Trinity teachers. It was a month-long retreat in a cabin on the south coast of NSW and it was intense!
I knew right away that I had not anticipated all the challenges I would face, and I also knew that I had not anticipated how much I would learn from my students and how much fun we would have.
Honestly, when I look back, I see that I had no idea what I was getting myself into, which is probably a good thing. I might not have taken that leap into the unknown, and it’s been the most wonderful adventure.
When I think back to that first course, I am so grateful to the students who came along and let me share with them and learn from them and make mistakes and grow along with them.
Thank you to that first group of brave yogis, and all the students, teachers, assistants, and supportive families who have been part of this adventure with me for 17 years.
I hope we’ll have many more years of yoga together.
