Accessible Yoga Workshop Nov 11 11:00-2:00
How can you tailor your yoga class into something accessible for every body? In this workshop, yoga teachers will explore the question of “What is Accessible Yoga?” A presentation will include a range of considerations and scope, along with teaching and communication strategies. Practical applications in the workshop consist of pose customizations using yoga equipment, and explorations of breathwork and meditation options for students. Yang to Yin Yoga Workshop Nov 12 11:00-2:00
In this Yang to Yin workshop, you will be introduced to Yin Yoga and learn about the contrasting and complementary aspects between a Yang and Yin practice, using Vinyasa and Yin styles. Yoga teachers will explore the range of Yang to Yin within selected poses, observing the shift from active holds to restful or challenging passive holds.
