Vinyasa Flow Immersion – Post-Graduate Training

In this 10 day continuing education program you will practice, study and learn to teach a full 90 minute Vinyasa Flow Yoga class for all levels. This module of study is designed for yoga teachers who have completed a minimum of 200-hours training in any lineage/style and wish to further their yoga education, diversify their teaching, and add Vinyasa Flow Yoga to their practice and teaching. This program is run concurrently with our 285-Hour Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training program, and offers 90 hours of continuing education credits to renew/upgrade your yoga registrations.

Vinyasa is a ‘progressive flow’, and this program offers an opportunity to progressively develop a yoga practice that offers the fitness benefits of strength, flexibility and balance in an environment of present-moment-focus that will enhance body awareness, posture, mental clarity, and breathwork.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is grounded in the philosophy and practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, with techniques modified to be more accessible and beneficial for the modern practitioner. This training explores both the rich teachings of the traditional philosophies of Yoga and modern fitness and biomechanical principles in practice. This course is an ideal continuing education program for those wishing to deepen their personal practice and learn to teach Vinyasa Flow.

In this course you will learn:

  • An introduction to the study and history of Vinyasa Flow Yoga
  • 8 Limbs philosophy
  • Anatomy for Yoga
  • Asana Study for the full Vinyasa Flow sequence
  • Cuing, Refining, and practice teaching each posture in the Vinyasa Flow sequence
