Vinyasa Flow Immersion Retreat

In this five day retreat immersion you will practice, study and learn to teach a full 75 minute Vinyasa Flow Yoga class; a modified Ashtanga Yoga practice suitable for all levels.  The Vinyasa Flow practice blends movement, breath and meditation for a dynamic experience of stretching, strengthening, balancing, and stabilizing with a present-moment focus that will bring clarity and calmness to the mind while enhancing fitness, sports performance and body/mind balance.

In this course you will learn:

  • The 5 Core Concepts
  • An introduction to the study and history of Yoga
  • Functional Anatomy for Vinyasa Flow Yoga
  • Cuing, Correcting and Adjusting
  • Props, Modifications, and Special Populations
  • Teaching an integrated practice of body and breath.

Residential Retreat Details:

This program will be held at the Atisha Buddhist Centre, Bendigo.  Accommodation and meal packages available from $365 for 5 days.

Continuing Education Credits:  Yoga Australia CPDs 55 hours
