Yoga Teacher Training Introductory Tasters
Have a Taste of Yoga Teacher Training
Interested but unsure? Tasters offer a low-risk, low-pressure entry into deeper study of yoga practice and philosophy.
If you’ve wanted to learn more about yoga or you want to dip your toe into the yoga teacher training experience without the full commitment, try a Taster.
A yoga teacher training Foundations Taster gives you the chance to begin to explore the practice of Vinyasa Flow or Gentle Yoga more deeply. Tasters include pose-by-pose study, yoga foundations and philosophy, and you can join weekly group coaching sessions to develop your yoga community. Plus, access a library of guided classes and discussions ranging from practice to anatomy, philosophy to teaching skills, and hear yoga trainers and teachers-in-training exploring yoga depths.
Taster courses are open to anyone interested in deepening their yoga studies and practice and who may wish to begin to explore the yoga teacher training journey.
For students who are unsure if teacher training is the right direction, wondering how they’ll fit study into their lives, or concerned about getting momentum in self-paced study, Tasters offer a low-risk, low-pressure entry into the teacher training journey – with support and connection along the way.
Taster courses include both practical and theoretical study:
- Practical Studies: guided practices and pose-by-pose studies of short sequences with both reading and videos.
- Theoretical Studies: explore yoga’s foundations in practice and philosophy with both reading and audio discussions and explore yoga ethics in daily life with a 10-week journaling unit.
